Keith brings his many years of working with precision German engineering and love
of
woodworking to making native style flutes. Keith's mission is to produce a finely tuned
flute
with a
good tone that can be packed and taken along anywhere a flute player goes.
He is currently making a Woodland style flute, and primarily uses Poplar, Alder, and
Mahogany, though cherry has become his favorite. Keith started with woods recycled
from from a friend's cabinet shop, and now works with hand selected woods.
He decorates the flutes
by burning, and with deer skin laces. Your flute will come with
a
custom made fleece sleeves and your choice of his wife's "Accompaniment for Native
Flute" CD, the 25 minute DVD of Pat & Dan Ricketts performance at the Lodi Crane
Festival, or a Kokapelli sticker for your car window.
